History:

ApartmentShowcase.com is dynamic search site for apartments in the Washington DC Metro area. based on the award winning guide book, the original site was created in late 2002 to gain a web presence. A simple database driven interface was designed in .asp.

Challenge:

Though the old site served well as a sturdy web directory of apartments it was quickly became outdated. I was given the task to research new web technology and ecommerce trends and analyzes competitors web sites to develop a plan for a new design and cutting edge functionality. I was assigned project management over the new site project which included: Developing an RFP, heading up a Web Project Team, designing the interface for all the site pages, coordinating and organization of site data and documents, testing and recording of site development progress.
